Summer Movie Nights
June 13 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm
This summer we are showing world-class films that give us insights about God’s presence in us and around us.
The movie this week is “Places in the Heart.” This feature is set in 1935 rural Texas. Recently widowed Edna Spaulding (Sally Field) struggles to survive with two small children, a farm to run and very little money in the bank – not to mention a deadly tornado and the unwelcome presence of the Ku Klux Klan. There will be a time to chat after the movie. Note: This movie is rated PG.
Bring your own dinner or eat before you come. Popcorn will be provided. Bring blankets for sitting on the floor or your own folding chair. A few tables and chairs will also be available. Nursery care is available UPON REQUEST for age 4 and younger. Contact the Church Office at (520) 327-7121 or firstname.lastname@example.org if nursery/child care will be needed.
