Summer Movie Nights

June 12 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm

This summer we are showing world-class films that give us insights about God’s presence in us and around us.

The second feature of our Summer Movie Nights is The Grapes of Wrath.

In John Steinbeck’s The Grapes of Wrath, Tom Joad and his family are forced from their farm in the Depression-era Oklahoma Dust Bowl and set out for California along with thousands of others in search of jobs, land, and hope for a brighter future. Considered John Steinbeck’s masterpiece, The Grapes of Wrath is a story of human unity and love as well as the need for cooperative rather than individualistic ideals during hard times.  This film is not rated but recommended for those 12 and over.

Bring your own dinner or eat before you come. Popcorn will be provided. Nursery care is available UPON REQUEST by June 10 for age 4 and younger. Contact the Church Office at (520) 327-7121 or office@npctucson.org if nursery/child care will be needed.
