Caring for our church family!
Pastoral Partners is a ministry of the Board of Deacons in which members of the congregation are trained and equipped to provide encouragement and care to those who are shut-in or for some other reason would benefit from increased pastoral visitation. Each Pastoral Partner is assigned one or more care-receivers from the congregation.
This ministry brings comfort and scripture to those who are homebound or unable to fully participate in the life of the church. Through prayer, fellowship and home visitation, a Pastoral Partner brings a connection to the church to those who would benefit from increased pastoral attention. Pastoral Partners are committed to their individual care receiver and regularly call on and communicate with them through phone calls, cards and letters. Notice of need may be facilitated through the Church Office.
We invite you to join with us to help bring comfort and joy through visitation to those within our church family who are ill, infirm or otherwise unable to fully participate with us in the life of the church. The benefit is two-way, for you will be as richly blessed as those to whom you minister.
To find out how you can get involved, or to provide notice of need, please contact the Church Office.
