COME HELP MAKE A DIFFERENCE - ALL ON AN EMPTY STOMACH!

Northminster Student Ministry is participating in World Vision’s 30-Hour Famine and Middle school and High school students are invited to take part!

On Saturday, February 8 Northminster and St. Andrews students are coming together and fasting for 30 hours while serving in the city of Tucson and helping create change around the world!

While we do encourage students to fast from food for the entire time, The 30-Hour Famine Experience is an inclusive event and we know it’s not realistic for some people to go without food for 30 hours. Please don’t let this hinder you from participating in this experience - talk to Sean, and he will help you find a solution!

We ask you to bring 2 large bottles of juice per student to share with the group so we have enough for everyone, and

2 pairs of new socks for donation to folks in need.

We will meet at Northminster around 7am and return around 9pm. Please pack a set of clothes for Sunday morning, 2 large bottles of juice to share (we will have cups), a sleeping bag, a pillow, a blanket, and any toiletries you need. We will break the fast around 7am on Sunday morning and then attend the 8am worship service. This is a perfect opportunity to pick up some service hours.

When you participate in the Famine, you’re helping to save lives!

A HUNGER FREE WORLD BEGINS WITH YOU!
