Have kids? No worries, we've got you covered. Northminster offers programs for kids from birth through 5th grade. If you're visiting us for the first time, our friendly staff and trained volunteers will show you where to go when you arrive. We will meet your family, check your child into class, and answer any questions you may have. We can't wait to meet you!

at Northminster

With the Holy Spirit's guidance and consistent prayer, we aim to build a strong and confident faith in children and students, connect them with Jesus and inspire them to follow Christ and share about him with others.

PHILOSOPHY

Even the youngest children should learn about Jesus and his love for us. Through our interactive, engaging programs, children learn while having fun. We create a safe and enjoyable environment for kids to grow in their faith and become strong, confident disciples of Jesus Christ.

 

At Northminster we seek through the Holy Spirit to help children come to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, grow in their faith, and go out into the world equipped to honor God throughout their lives. Nurturing families is a primary goal at Northminster. We strive to provide a safe, child-friendly place where your family can learn, praise, and celebrate together in Christ.

CHILDREN'S COURTYARD

Northminster's Children’s Courtyard has recently undergone a beautiful renovation, now featuring a new play structure, shaded areas, a toddler zone, soft play surfaces, and enhanced access control. This refreshed space provides a fun and engaging environment where children can play, learn, and grow in their faith through our dynamic children’s ministries. We invite you and your family to explore our community and experience all the exciting activities we have to offer. We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to our community!

Storytime Kids

CE Building Room 7

Storytime Kids is offered for children ages 3-Kindergarten, providing age-appropriate activities during the sermon at the 8 and 9:45am services. Children may attend Storytime after the Children’s Message. Meet our attendant in the lobby; children will be escorted to Room 7, where they are to be picked up by parents/guardians following worship.

Discover the treasure of God’s Word! Kids have fun with their peers exploring how God’s Word leads them to a full life in Jesus. Check in at the classroom.

CE Building Room 7

Children ages 3-5 are invited to share songs, games, Bible stories and crafts with Children’s Ministry staff while their family continues in worship. Sign up as you enter the Sanctuary, check in with our staff in the church lobby, and pick up your child(ren) in Classroom 7 after worship. 

Choraliers Children's Choir

Sundays, 9:00 & 11:30am
Music Rehearsal Room, Multipurpose Building

Choraliers Children's Choir is a fun way to experience the joy of singing to the Lord for students age 5 and up. Learning and growing in their faith through singing, this choir offers great opportunities to learn music skills to use for worship and fun! Choraliers help to lead worship about once a month, and present the annual Christmas musical at the 3:00PM Family Christmas Eve Service. Gloria Day, Director.

Nursery Childcare (Newborn through age 3)

Sundays, 7:45am-1:15pm

CE Building Room 2

Safe, loving, nurturing care for children age 3 and younger during all worship services is provided by our professionally trained staff. Check in at Classroom 2 prior to worship.
