At TROPICAL TREK, you’ll join your explorer team and set out across winding rivers, tropical groves, hidden caves and even a quiet volcano as you search for clues on an unforgettable island adventure.

 

As your team tracks down clues, you’ll uncover the story of Jesus and his mission to seek and save the lost, revealing how he finds us when we feel lost, lonely, or in trouble – and brings us the hope of new life with him.

Each day is packed with island fun – high-energy games, creative crafts, hands-on science, yummy snacks, and exciting Bible stories where kids step right into the action. With new friends and plenty of surprises, it’s an adventure kids won’t want to miss!

 

Your Tropical Trek includes:

3 Adventure Days: Wednesday–Friday, June 24-26, 9am-Noon

Family Festival: Saturday, June 27, 10am-12pm

Celebration Worship & Brunch: Sunday, June 28, 10am-12pm.

 

Since everything is hands-on, kids might get a little messy, but that's part of the fun! Register today for your spot in this unforgettable island adventure!

Additional Details

Ages: Tropical Trek VBS is for children age 3 through grade 5 completed. Children must be fully toilet-trained to participate.

Cost: This exciting adventure is only $20.00 per child; family maximum cost is $60. Online payment is available with your completed registration. Scholarships are available - contact Kathy Mallgren for details.

Attending with friends: VBS is great fun to experience with friends! We will do our best to honor friend grouping requests. However, please note that children are grouped by age to ensure that activities and lessons are age-appropriate and engaging. If a friend's age is significantly different than your child's age, we may not be able to place them together.

What an incredible week! True North VBS was filled with joy, laughter, and moments that pointed kids to Jesus. Each day brought adventure—from engaging Bible stories and upbeat music to games, snow play, science fun, and creative snacks—helping kids discover how to follow Jesus as their True North.

VBS Kids Mission Project!

This week, our VBS kids partnered with Operation Kid-to-Kid to share Jesus’ love in a practical way—by donating warm winter clothing and blankets and raising close to $750 for World Vision! Their gifts will help provide cozy clothing to children living in some of the world’s coldest places. What a beautiful way to live out God’s love in action!
