Free Summer Ballroom Dance Class
Wednesday, July 8, 7:00-8:30pm, Fellowship Hall

Ballroom DancingLast Class!

Don’t sit on the couch all summer complaining about the heat! Learn to dance!

A free summer ballroom dance class will be offered at Northminster Presbyterian Church, Wednesday, July 8 in the Fellowship Hall. Doors open at 6:30pm, class starts at 7:00pm and ends around 8:30pm.

Dance instructors will be Tim and Helga Kolosick and Dan and Laura Carlson. There will be live music at the end of the class performed by Better and Better!

Come one, come all! Bring your friends - no partner necessary. It's best to attend all four classes, but if you have to miss one or two, no big deal. After all, it’s summer!

But that’s not all. On July 9, we will all go to a free dance party at the Tucson Women’s Club with live music by Better and Better. Details at the class. Don’t miss out!

Make A Blanket Day
Saturday, July 11, 9:00-11:30am, Fellowship Hall

A mission experience for the whole family!

At NPC we believe that children learn more from their parents than they do from anyone else, and as families are involved in mission together, parents are able to demonstrate and instill a lifestyle of service in their children. Our goal is to offer opportunities for families to experience mission involvement that will give them an avenue for growing together as they seek to live the call of God.

At Make a Blanket Day we'd love to see young children, teens, grandparents and other family members work together to share God's love with our neighbors at Catalina Care Center and TMM Family Services. We'll have fun designing fabric squares, hand and machine stitching material, tying ribbon, decorating gift bags and more as we create unique children's cuddle blankets and lap blankets for seniors!

No experience is necessary. All materials will be supplied. If you have a sewing machine you can share we would welcome it.

Cragin Connection
School Supplies Needed for the New School Year

School SuppliesAs part of Northminster’s community outreach, each Sunday in July there will be a Cragin table in the Rowley Courtyard where you can stop by to pick up a shopping bag with an attached list of school supplies needed for Cragin Elementary students.

If you don’t have time to shop, and would like to make a financial contribution, checks may be made payable to Northminster, marked “Cragin.” School resumes the first week in August, so all bags and financial gifts need to be returned by Sunday, July 26. Thanks for your support!
