Reading for the Common Good
Monthly, third Sunday, 11:15am-1:15pm
Multipurpose Room
Facilitator: Liz Rosenblatt
Are you a passionate reader with a desire to make a positive impact in the world? Then join "Reading for the Common Good"!
Our discussion group delves into a diverse range of books, spanning fiction and nonfiction, both Christian and secular. Together, we explore how the ideas and themes within these books connect to our personal faith, actions, and the broader church community. Our objectives are straightforward: foster a love for reading, broaden perspectives, and deepen empathy for those whose experiences differ from our own. Participants are required to source their own books.
So, come join us for a good read and even better company! Contact Liz Rosenblatt for more information.
Our next meeting date is Sunday, July 19 (the group will not meet in June).

July 19: David Drum, If It Was Easy, Jesus Wouldn't Have Prayed For It
